Made You Look

I'm finally posting on my blog, not because I have anything interesting to share but I couldn't stand reading the last blog title on the BS forum over and over again. Honestly it made me as nauseous as I'm sure it did everyone else there.

Last night I tried staying up to watch a 3 star TCM movie but couldn't do it. I kept feeling my eye lids droop until I would doze off for a bit. Now that the weather is cold, snuggling up with a blanket and watching a good movie sounds plausible.

Where was security?

Everybody Loves Raymond? Well, apparently the Obamas do. Raymond, Raymond, Raymond...my god you're awful. Ray Romano graced the stage at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball. Once he attempted a MIL joke it snowballed from there. It was so awful that I begged Cliff to turn to the channel.

Watch if you dare...

Favorite Snack & A Patch Of Blue

So it's still winter and my favorite snack is a pricey one.  Bing cherries & blackberries.  They were both on sale last week so I thought, what the hell?  Hmmm, so good.  I wish we had more space so I could add more fruit to the garden.

On to the movie!  Last night I saw A Patch of Blue.  I've always wanted to see this movie but I never catch it on.  It wasn't disappointing.  I'm so glad I got to see it.  All the actors were suburb.  Of course I love Sidney Poitier and Shelley Winters, but I was impressed with Elizabeth Hartman as well.  What a great movie.

Usually I am not very impressed with 1960 - 70 movies.  I happen to catch some Dick Van Dyke movies..ugh, thank goodness he redeemed himself with Mary Poppins.
