Had this movie been produced now the leading lady, Ellie hopefully would have picked up a few red flags & gotten a restraining order on Peter.

Despite needing a guy "that'd take a sock at her once a day - whether it is coming to her or not", one can only get that giddy feeling when Ellie & Peter finally do end up with each other.
This film was the first to win all five major Academy Awards, which makes me wonder what else was playing that year?!? It is cute movie, but 5 awards?
Cute dialog and the actors are pretty great. It was refreshing to see Clark Gable in a comedy role and I've always been a fan of Claudette Colbert.
