Realty TV - Real Estate Shows

I've never been a big fan of reality TV shows. Primetime reality shows are right down there with primetime game shows. BLAH! I would love to be able to flip through the major networks and see well written sitcoms but there haven't been any for awhile. There is however one kind of show that seems to suck me in. I am totally embarrassed to admit that I am totally hooked on Real Estate Shows.

It started with House Hunters and snowballed. All of a sudden Blow Joe realtors are also tv hosts for many different network shows. A few days ago HGTV played a marathon of Property Virgins. I had work to do, the dogs needed fed, honestly the neighbors house could have been on fire. It wouldn't have mattered I was totally glued to the couch and I'm not even sure why. I really love houses so that could be my excuse.

Yes, I am not ashamed to admit that I was one of those people that went through open houses with no intention to buy, so at least I'm not wasting a realtors time although I was always up front - just here to see the house! :)

I even thought about a career in real estate once but decided I really didn't want to deal with people, well, like me.
