Resistance Tube Kit

I love these resistance tubes!! Danskin offers a premium resistance tube kit at Walmart for around $19. I like to call it the poor mans Bowflex. The kit also includes a workout cd starring Mia Finnegan, who my dh hopes to look like in a couple months.
Mia is great at teaching the proper position to hold your body and I love the way she always tells the audience to hold your bellies in. I'm not sure if she expects people work out in groups or it's directed at the singular with plural bellies. At any rate it cracks me up when I'm in the middle of the routine which I don't recommend laughing during the workout, muscles go to jello.

One warning though, make sure someone is nearby if you decide to workout with resistance tubes. I was in the middle of a chest press with a short length tube when it rolled up and over my shoulder blades. It smacked me in the back of the head with some force but what was worse was that it curled up in my ponytail. I could walk around with the tube hanging in my hair. For the life of me I couldn't get it untangled but luckily my dh was there...and had seen it happen. I now keep my hair in a tight bun during workouts.
