Last night I started watching Evergreen, a 1934 musical starring Jessie Matthews. I couldn't get into the movie so I ended up going to bed, but I couldn't get over Jessie Matthews' itty, bitty, tiny waist. Hollywood is full of thin girls but Jessie Matthews has the tiniest waist I have ever seen. She's built like a thread-waisted wasp.
