The Rainbow Connection

It's easy to get caught up in the things that society says are important, take loved ones for granted and lose sight of any dreams you might of had. Bombarded by emails, phone calls and peanut butter cookies on top of the fridge I felt overwhelmed this morning, frustrated by crap I seem to be failing miserably at and yet to continue to do.

Then because of the death of fellow blogger, I was reacquainted with an old love. Kermit the Frog

"The Rainbow Connection" reminds us to connect with that inner voice that tells us to try big things that may seem impossible.

I think The Rainbow Connection a beautiful song and of course the Muppets have always been a love of mine. Jim Henson is one of my heros. How wonderful to live your life creating magic in a world that can be so devastating & cruel. He didn't live long but his magic still lingers. When I grow up I want to create magic but maybe that's the point. The real magically people never grow up. I hope it's not too late.
